Groundwater Data Services

The Groundwater Centre has been maintaining a groundwater database for the past 22 years. In 1979, The Groundwater Centre started the process of merging the AENV (Alberta Environment) GIC database with its own database. This process allowed The Groundwater Centre to dramatically upgrade the existing AENV groundwater dataset.

Please select one of the options below to access our enhanced datasets.

Search by Legal Location: This method will allow you to enter A.T.S. values information (Lsd/Quarter, Section, Township, Range and Meridian) to select an area of interest (AOI). Searching using this method will return summary information for the location specified. You will also have the option of generating a "live" completion reports (metric & imperial), and you can also "drill-down" on a specific groundwater well.		Search by Well Owner: This method will allow you enter an owner's partial or full name and retrieve all matching groundwater wells. Searching using this method will return summary information for all matching groundwater well owners.
Search by TGWC ID: This method will allow you to enter the unique The Groundwater Centre ID (TGWC ID). Once the TGWC ID has been entered, you will see all the details available for that particular groundwater well. You will also be able to view and print all reports associated with the groundwater well.		Search by AENV 'WELLID': This method will allow you to ise AENV's Wellid. Once the WELLID has been entered, you will see all the details available for that particular groundwater well. You will also be able to view and print all reports associated with the groundwater well. NOTE: This ID is not unique and has been known to be recycled.
